The prices for placing an item on the MedTrader listings pages may seem confusing to start with, but it is infact quite simple.
1.
Listing Fee - There is a charge for listing an item, this depends upon the category it is placed into.
2.
Enhancement Fee - On top of the listing fee there is an option to enhance your item - this includes bolding, featured item etc.
There are also renewal costs when your item expires, but these only apply to certain categories - books, equipment sales and non medical sales categories all have free renewals, so that they remain on the site until they sell.*

2. Enhancements
These enhancements to a listing are the same price in all categories, and they last until the listing is renewed, so the longer the length of the listing, the more value you get from these enhancements.
Enhancements and Upgrades can be added up to your listing up to 21 days after it has beed submitted, after 21 days you can no longer upgrade your listing.
Featured Item - Home Page
Select this feature to have your item placed on the Front Page (Home Page) of MedTrader for maximum exposure.
Your item will rotate on the Front Page Featured Items section with other featured items. There are 5 featured picture items along the top, which only display listings with a picture, and below that are 5 further full feature listings. When you choose this enhancement, you are selecting both of these options, so your item can easily be displaed twice on the home page.
Cost - £7.50

Featured Item - Category Specific
Your item will appear in the "Featured Ads" table that appears at the top of your chosen category browing page for maximum exposure within that category.
Cost - £2.50

Images / Pictures
All listings are allowed one free image each, and the all further images are £0.15 each.
The maximum image size allow ed for uploads is 1mb. If you have a problem uploading images, please contact customer services and email us the image as an attachement, and we will add it to your listing for you.
You can upload images with the following file types - .gif, .jpeg, .bmp, .png
Cost - 1st Image is Free, Subsequent Images are £0.15 |
Better Placement
The better placement option for your listing will display your item in the top of the category results while users are browsing the classified ads.
All 'better placed' listings are arranged by the date the item was placed (from most recent to oldest) within the specific category.

Title Bolding
The bolding option for your listing will display the title of your item in bold letters while users are browsing the classified ads.
Cost - £0.75 |
* Please note that this is only available to individual items - if you are listing quantities of an item, ie traders selling items that will never be 'sold', please contact us for details of subscriptions.
