MedTrader is really quite a simple idea.
We bring together medical professionals (doctors, dentists, vets, pharmacists etc), who are either looking to buy or sell thier new or used books or equipment.
That's were it started...
Now we're offering even more...
The site is based aroung a 'Classified Listings' format - This means that is works a bit like a traditional notice board, except MedTrader is reaching many many more people.
You can either...
1. Browse the site:
Choose a category from the list on the left hand side, then select sub categories, until you find the listings. Items are only found at the end of a category. the small number by the side of the category tells you how many items are lested in each.
2. Search the Site
Either a quick search for something specific using the quick search on the right hand side.
Or an Advanced Search using the search option - here you can search specific categories, price ranges, location and more. Remember that the more option you fill out, the fewer results you will get. Also, sometime things are spelt incorrectly, so if you find nothing, it may be worth browsing the categories to check for other items.
If you find an item you are interested in, you can then contact the advertiser. Some items have a direct link to their websites, such as Amazon, Blackwells and MediSave which allow you to then order online. Other listing have contact telephone numbers, emails or you can contact the seller via the 'Contact Seller' icon at the top right of the listing.
Some ads now include a PayPal Buy It Now button - this allows you to send payments dirsctly to the seller vie PayPal's secure payment gateway. It's always a good idea to chck with the seller that the item is still available before you send payment. MedTrader is not responsible for any third party transactions, please proceed with care.
3. Add an Item to the Site.
You must register to do this - it's quick and free.
Once you have registered, a whole heap of options open up to you, all of which are covered in detail in your welcome email.
It's a simple process to add an item - select 'Place and Ad' and follow the instructions on screen.
4. Renew and Enhance your Listings
Accessed via the 'My Account' page, 'Your Active Ads' lists all your current ads. From here you can renew, enhance, mark as sold, edit and delete your listings.
